ICEA 2017: THE AMBASSADOR OF CHINA PROMISES THE ATTENDANCE OF AN IMPORTANT DELEGATION OF THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT

The Chinese Government will send an important delegation to the second edition of the International Conference on the Emergence of Africa (ICEA) which will be heldfrom 28 to 30 March in Abidjan. This is what the Ambassador of China in Côte d’Ivoire, HE Tang Weibi, promised, after the audiencewith the Vice-President of the Republic, HE Daniel Kablan Duncan, on Thursday 9 February. According to the Chinese diplomat, the strong Chinese presence at this conferenceis testimony to the excellent relations between the two countries which, sharing common positions in international forums, support one another.

“To demonstratethis support to Côte d’Ivoire, the Chinese Governmentwill send an important delegation to the International Conference on the Emergence of Africa to be held in Abidjanin March 2017” ,he said.

“After our meeting, we agree thatthe relations between Chinaand Côte d’Ivoire are at their best”, he added, referring to various cooperation projectsin the economic, diplomatic, social, cultural and many other areas.
