Africa must act quickly to begin development according to AfDB President

For the President of the African Development Bank, Mr Adesina, development must be done with pride and Africa must move quickly. For that, he advocates access to finance and energy for Africa.
But to succeed in its emergence, Africa must also bet on political stability without which there is no development.

For the AfDB President, the African market should not be a market for others. For this, he advocates strong support for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) because he says "it is SMEs that will become large companies." It is in this context that his institution mobilized $ 1 billion in support for SMEs. He also recommended a greater availability of energy so that industrialization can be done without a hitch.
